ITS Ireland and Institute of Highway Engineers Announce Professional Development Partnership
ITS Ireland is pleased to announce the signing of a Professional Development Partner Memorandum of Understanding with the Institute of Highway Engineers (IHE).
The partnership will create new opportunities for members of both organisations through shared events, technical seminars and webinars, professional registration guidance, discounted access to selected IHE training, and collaboration on industry reports and publications. Select ITS Ireland events will also be recognised as contributing towards Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for attendees.
David Laoide-Kemp, Chair of ITS Ireland:
“ITS Ireland is delighted to agree a Professional Development Partner MoU with IHE. There are clear crossovers between our two organisations, and we believe this partnership will strengthen the services and professional development opportunities available to our members. We look forward to working closely with IHE to achieve this goal.”
ITS Ireland was formally awarded Professional Development Partner status by IHE on 15 July 2026. The partnership reflects both organisations’ commitment to supporting training, knowledge sharing and the continued upskilling of professionals working across intelligent transport systems, highways and transportation.
