2020 ITS Ireland 10th Anniversary Webinar Series
ITS Ireland invites professionals with an interest in Intelligent Transport Systems to celebrate our 10th Anniversary with a series of webinars in Autumn 2020.
Replacing our annual conference, the Webinar Series will give presenters from Ireland and around the world, the platform to collectively reflect on the past decade of progress and set out the potential future direction of technology and transportation.
The theme for the series is ”ITS – Enabling Sustainable Mobility” and will examine the role of ITS in meeting both National and International objectives for delivering sustainable, efficient and safe mobility.
The Webinar Programme and Registration details will be published in September and will be sent to all ITS Ireland members.
INVITATION TO SUBMIT PRESENTATIONS
ITS Ireland invites interested parties to submit an abstract of their presentation, email addresses and telephone numbers of the author(s) to info@itsireland.ie by Friday, 31st July 2020.
Offers will be considered by the ITS Ireland Programme Committee, if necessary seeking additional information from the presenter(s).
Abstracts will be considered by the Committee on the basis of the originality of the work, content, the supporting evidence and the anticipated level of interest from members.
The objective of the presentations is to provide an update on new or ongoing ITS initiatives that demonstrate the role of technology in enabling sustainable mobility.
Presentations should last for a maximum of 15 minutes. Abstracts must be limited to half an A4 page and summarise the theme and objective of the proposed presentation.
All received submissions will then be discussed by our review panel and successful applicants will be notified by Friday, 21st August 2020. The required process and schedule for submission of final presentations will be notified at that date also.
