ITS Ireland and Dublin City Council were delighted to welcome students

ITS Ireland and Dublin City Council were delighted to welcome students from TU Delft to Dublin on Tuesday 7th February.

The Masters’ students, studying Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics, and Transport Planning, met with ITS Ireland board members John Davis and Barry McCann at Dublin City Council Civic Offices. After a brief chat and refreshments, the students were given a tour of the DCC Traffic Control Room and also a short presentation on the functions of ITS Ireland. The students showed a real interest in the transport operations and initiatives being employed in Dublin and were a pleasure to spend time with. ITS Ireland would like to wish them all the very best in their studies and future careers.

Also, thanks go to the DCC Control Room supervisor Andrew Harris and Control Room Operators Damien McClean and Michael Hayden for making this visit possible.
