ITS Network Germany plans to organise a Special Session in Detroit regarding intermodal traffic information and management for cities with large plants, factories etc., where there is a large mono-destination-commuter-flow.
These interactive, tailor-made sessions create an opportunity to explore specific topics in greater detail than a conventional paper session to offer fresh perspectives and insight.
This is a unique opportunity to organise a panel of key speakers to discuss the most pressing and hottest topics of ITS and we would be very pleased to have you organise a Special Interest Session once again for the 21st ITS World Congress in Detroit, Michigan, to take place September 7-11, 2014.
The theme of Detroit 2014 is “Reinventing Transportation in our Connected World”. The ITS World Congress & Exhibition is the largest event in Intelligent Transport Systems and Services and the key topics of this year World Congress will be research, knowledge development, deployment of ITS technologies, and new and emerging players in ITS.
As a unique platform dedicated to the trends, achievements and opportunities around the globe, the ITS World Congress annually brings together a wealth of decision makers at the highest level, thought leaders, technologists, business professionals, researchers and a wide range of related experts.
If you or a colleague would like to organise a Special Interest Session, please view the full proposal guidelines in the Call for Papers Prospectus and visit the Programme Submissions page on the Detroit World Congress website http://itsworldcongress.org and submit your proposal through the submission portal http://itswc.confex.com/itswc/WC2014/cfp.cgi by January 15, 2014.
