The ITS Ireland 2012 conference will be held on Friday 5th October in the Lyrath Estate Hotel, Co. Kilkenny where a wide range of topics relevant to the use of ITS will be covered.
The theme for this year’s conference is ‘ITS: Providing Real Solutions for Real Needs’ whereby we examine the role of ITS in delivering innovative cost-effective solutions to assist policy objectives for delivering sustainable, efficient and safe mobility.

The Conference Programme and Registration Form will be published at the start of May 2011 and will be sent to all ITS Ireland members. Information will also be available on www.itsireland.ie

Abstracts will be considered by the Committee on the basis of the originality of the work, the content, the supporting evidence and the anticipated level of interest from delegates.
The objective of the presentations is to provide delegates with a briefing/update on new or ongoing project and product developments in the ITS arena and priority will be given to presentations that cover action items in the EU ITS Directive and EU EETS Directive, specifically in the following areas;
