Serco introduce rapid response service in Dublin City.

In 2010 Serco celebrated over 21 years of provision of services to Dublin City Council’s director of traffic. Today we provide a range of technical and maintenance services to Dublin City Council.

Working in a city environment with high levels of congestion, increased client demands on the service providers efficiency and the need to comply with stringent repair/response times requires constant innovation and new ways of thinking, with this in mind, July 2010 has seen Serco launch its motorcycle based rapid response support service to Dublin City Council. The key benefits of the service are:

  • Ability to react quickly to faults received in the field from the Pocket PC Fault Management System (PPCFMS).
  • Support existing van based technical staff and speedy turnaround of components from Fault Repair Centre in North Dublin.
  • Completion of annual equipment and asset condition surveys using Pocket PC Field Inventory Management System (PPCFIMS).

We look forward to continued innovations in our service, producing and delivering both a cost efficient and better quality of service to the city of Dublin.
