Capital Hightech invite ITS Ireland members to benefit from the opportunity to promote your GNSS-based technology/application/service developed for the ITS sector within the “Galileo Apps Store” catalogue of GNSS-based apps.
This free-of-charge opportunity is proposed within the framework of the European project “SUNRISE” (www.sunrise-project.eu) managed by the GSA (European GNSS Agency – www.gsa.europa.eu) and financed by European FP7 funds.
SUNRISE aims to bring together and animate User Forums addressing the two major GNSS markets: Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and Location-Based Services (LBS).
By organizing these forums, the SUNRISE project has three main objectives:
- identify common priorities and specific user needs to be considered by the European institutions as part of GALILEO and EGNOS programs,
- describe the measures that will accelerate the commercial deployment of European GNSS applications and services,
- identify the specific needs of stakeholders from all the value chain in terms of technical requirements and standardization needs.
In this context, SUNRISE also allows companies/labs/institutes to promote their GNSS technologies/applications/services developed in the ITS and LBS sectors via a dedicated catalogue, the “Galileo Apps Store”, that will be displayed on the SUNRISE website and ultimately linked to the GSA portal, and that will be promoted during each users forum.
If you are interested in this opportunity, do not hesitate to fill the attached ‘Galileo Apps Store’ template by clicking here to present your services, and send it back to the following email address: firstname.lastname@example.org (member of the SUNRISE consortium).
Final DEADLINE for submissions is June 25, 2013
A first draft catalogue, showing the first twenty GNSS apps collected at that time can be downloaded here.
