The recent National Smart Transport Summit & the 2nd National Electric Vehicle Summit in Croke Park Conference Centre included a range of speakers and panellists both national and international, who contributed hugely to the topic and debates over the day.
In his role as Chairman of ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) Ireland, David O’Keeffe (Dublin) delivered a presentation entitled ‘Optimising Transportation Using ITS’.

As mentioned by the Minister, there is the opportunity for attendees to communicate their opinions, comments and suggestions arising from the conferences via the Society of Irish Motor Industry (SIMI) and the ElectroMobility Association of Ireland (EMAI). The aim of the EMAI is to establish Ireland as an international leader in electromobility by promoting the use of electric vehicles, and to stimulate job creation, export and research opportunities through the development of technological products and services.
