Mouchel Launch Next Generation ICPS Software

Mouchel is proud to be a partner and exhibitor at Traffex/Parkex 2011 – one of the most important events in the industry calendar. In these challenging times, we recognise that an integral part of our role as an industry leader is to not only to help the public sector manage and operate its assets in the most efficient manner but to protect and enhance revenues. Mouchel provides wide ranging parking and transportation services and offers robust and future proof highways products. These include the usual design and network management services as well as network compliance and enforcement, permitting, control centres and back offices, integrated street management and electric vehicle infrastructure.

At Traffex/Parkex this year Mouchel has chosen to launch the next generation of ICPS software product. ICPS is used by more than 50 local authorities in the UK and internationally, processing more than 4.5 million penalty charge notices (PCNs) per year (50 per cent of all PCNs and permits issued in England). The software is used to process around 20,000 transactions every day in London for the road user charging operation alone and handles more than £500m in revenue every year.

ICPS provides a scalable and flexible end-toend parking solution and represents the latest thinking in integrated on-street and back office parking software. We have coupled ICPS with a range of technologies in both on-street and off-street enforcement and compliance to create systems that will manage assets and the network more efficiently. We also provide integration with other systems, programmes and initiatives, optimising revenues and improving safety and security.

During the exhibition, Mouchel will be holding two seminars, in which we hope to share our thoughts, knowledge and expertise in two topical areas of the industry:

  1. Reclaiming the streets – This seminar will look at how the role of the civil enforcement officer has changed over recent years and how it can evolve to incorporate a range of civic as well as enforcement activities. It will also look at how the imaginative and innovative management of parking can help to reclaim the streets for all citizens and lead to the regeneration of town centres.
  2. Electric vehicles and the parking industry – This seminar will look at how the introduction and expected growth of the electric vehicle market will have an impact on parking operations and associated IT systems in the future. Both these areas change the way in which the streets scene operates and we’d be pleased to talk to you in detail about these two exciting opportunities
